Push Up Game...

Fisher and his old roommates used to play the push-up game. You take a deck of cards, flip over a card, and do the number of push-ups dictated by the value of the card. Aces are 15, face cards are 10...on down. So, last night I was the card flipper. Normally, you get a break while the other players take their turns, but since Fisher was the only participant, he counted off seconds according the card's value in between rounds of push-ups. Then he used the pile of cards he worked through to total his push ups.

Fisher said the most push-ups he's ever done during the game is over 500! There were several people playing so there were ample opportunities for rest, but still a ton of push-ups!

I may adapt this to a sit-up game for myself!

I love all the games you guys play. Will and I are big game people too. We miss the days when we just got together with people to play, now we either have to get a babysitter or wait until the kids are in bed and try not to stay up too late ourselves. and making up a game that incorporates exercise, what a great time!:)

That's pretty cool! Maybe a fun incentive to exercise!

Leigh, you should see our game closet. I'll have to take a pic and post it. It's hilarious! So many games!

When we were engaged, we played Scrabble every Sunday evening while watching TV. Then life got busy. We really should make more time to play games and watch less TV.

Game nights with friends are some of our favorite times!
