Fisher read the instructions for Blokus, and it gave a brain teaser option-- trying to fit all the pieces on the board legally. Fisher has been trying this, and on his fifth try he got it! He's so good at spatial relations and strategy games! The trick for this layout was to use the same configuration for all colors. We weren't sure if there would be empty squares or not, but there are several empty spots! You can also rearrange the last few blocks in a few different ways.

we've been Blokus fans for awhile, last year at Christmas, we were with Will's family and we had a Blokus marathon with eliminations! :) It was such a blast! I'm glad you guys are enjoying such a great game.

A Blokus tournament is a great idea! We always have some sort of game tournament for Fisher's birthday! Maybe next year will be Blokus!
