Last week, I wanted something sweet. I'd been saving a recipe for Cherry Crunch for Life Group, so I decided to make it for us. Fisher really liked it, but he kept calling it a cobbler, so maybe that's why I didn't like it. I'm not a cobbler fan. I think the recipe had too much flour in it. Next time I make it, I'll add less flour and more brown sugar or oatmeal.
Since I was "snackless" for Life Group, I decided to try the next recipe on my list of recipes to try. Lemon cookies got the call! Everyone seemed to like them...I thought they were good. They were chewy and soft. They are made from a cake mix, so it was a really easy recipe. The lemon cookie picture is very yellow...not sure what was going on with the camera at that time!
