New Year's...

Fisher and I drove back from Arkansas on New Year's Eve. We left my parents at 10AM and got home around 6PM. We made plans for New Year's Eve on the way home. We ended up having a few people over for an impromptu party. so we stopped at Sam's on our way home for food (since our fridge was empty). We played Guitar Hero (more to come on that) and just chatted. We snacked on chips, salsa, queso, fudge and some pizza rolls.

Fisher, Kevin and Jimmy left to go get a video game at Kevin's house. About three miles from our house, Fisher's car stalled in the middle of the road. The boys pushed the car to a church parking lot and we left it there overnight. The next AM we tried to start the car again, but no luck. We called and had it towed to the dealership.

We're so thankful that our merciful Lord allowed us to drive to Illinois (around town), Arkansas and back home (1900 miles) without incident! God is so good!

The car had a cracked distributor cap and needed new spark plugs. It basically got a rebuilt ignition. So, the Corolla is up and running again!
