In the House...

After a couple months of hemming and hawing and sadness and happiness (by me), we've finally moved into the "rental" house. It's hard to take that word out of our vocabulary since we've called it that for so long! Fisher was slowly moving stuff over, and made the big move on Saturday. We had a ton of friends come and help so that made it really, really nice! It rained yesterday, but it was warm today so I think the rain was actually a blessing. We just covered everything up in the trucks and wiped it off when we got here! Thanks to our great group of friends the move was painless...almost! LOL We have three more boxes to unpack and everything will be "in it's place" for the most part! It's nice to have so much room. There are even a lot of empty cabinets and shelves! I'll post pictures soon! Thanks to all of our wonderful friends for their help! Thanks to the Lord for giving us this house to live in!

Edited to add picture of the front of the house.

And what a great house it is! Perfect for entertaining. Although I don't know what you're going to do with all those bedrooms!

Thank you! Maybe we can continue to rent them out!?! LOL ;-)

sorry, I'm not up on the story... what does "rental" house mean? :) It looks great, I'm sure it feels good. Congrats!

Ah yes, rental. My husband bought this house an as investment property about four years ago. He's been renting it out since then. A few months ago, we decided to move into it. We've always referred to it as the "rental house" since we've been together (a little over two years). Now it's our house! :-)

oh ok, thanks! :) yeah, we might do that to our house in Norfolk, except we bought it, lived in it, then rented it out when we moved, and might move back in again. Right now we're going to try to sell it or rent it, whichever comes first.

We tried to sell this house. It was only on the market for 30 days though...not really enough time to give it a chance to sell. We used Craigslist to find renters...seemed to work well for us!
