That October 1st is National Homemade Cookies Day? A friend enlightened me to this fact, and after a quick Google search, I discovered that every day has some sort of food holiday in America! See the link below for October!
This can certainly help with menu planning! National Greasy Foods Day is the day before my birthday...maybe that's a good Fair day!? And Pumpkin Day is on my birthday, how exciting...not. LOL. National Chocolate Day is two days afterwards, maybe I can petition that it's changed? Yet more reasons that October is awesome!

3 things to read...:
hmm, I feel a little guilty missing out on all that hot TX weather. It's a beautiful time of year up here in RI! in the 70's and upper 60's, sunny, breezy, perfect! The leaves are already changing and it's so great to see the beauty this time of year that New England is famous for. However, it still doesn't beat good ol' TX hospitality and genuine kindness! There's no place like home. ;)
Ahhhh, sounds so lovely! One of my life goals is to go to New England in the fall. I've been in the summer, and it was fabulous! I loved Newport...and Percy's was super tasty! There was also a really neat store along the main road that sold all sorts of off-beat items. Really cool town!
When is National Chinese Food Day?!
