Below is a picture of the latest master bedroom comforter set! I think we may stick with this one! I moved the blue/brown curtains from the den to the master. Then I moved thed red curtains/pillows from the master to the den. Just a little switcharoo. I like the red in the den too. Now, I think I've decided do the main living in purple with a few hand-me-downs from friend and some fabric leftover from our wedding. The bed has two Euro pillows that I don't have the "stuffings" for, but maybe I'll get them for Christmas!
This is our guest room! It's the furniture (bed and table) from our apartment bedroom. The toss pillows are from the couch at our apartment which is now in our formal living room. Looks like we have two blue rooms now!

it looks like you have a stripe sectioned off in the middle of the wall in your master bedroom ... maybe you could bring out an accent color like brown or something so it won't feel like a "blue" room. Same thing in the guest room, you have a chair rail and you could paint the bottom of the wall (under the rail) a bright cream color or accent color found in your comforter to bring out something else and then use pictures and pillows and rugs to keep the color in the room, that way you can have two huge blue comforters and no blue room! :) just an idea, have fun with whatever you decide. :)
Aha! We're on the same track! I've been thinking about that striped part of the master! I think there used to be a border there! And, it wouldn't take long to paint it at all! I also like the idea of painting below the chair rail in the guest room. We need to do that in the den too. The guest bath is green/blue/cream, so a cream half-wall would accent that nicely! Wanna come help me paint?! ;-)
