A few weeks ago I hosted girl's baking night at our house, but am just now getting around to the post. Krista, Jen and I baked while Davene, Angelique, Kelli and Maile were the tasting panel. :-)
Krista made absolutely fabulous lemon cookies, of which I don't have a picture. They are flaky and tender and sweet and tangy. Perfectly balanced cookies.
I made this free form cherry tart, which I called the "Fall Apart Cherry Tart"
Jen made these awesome spice cookies!
Jen also made peanut butter cupcakes with her mom's famous chocolate icing. I accidentally let one batch cook a little too long.
I made boxed brownies and covered them with ganache! Decadent!
I also made baked pineapple hand pies. A somewhat healthier version of the friend pie. This is hubbo eating one in the car on the way to Iowa.

This was SO much fun! We need to do it again soon - I am craving some more pb cupcakes - and spice cookies too!
Maybe in September sometime Mike will let me use the house to host a girls baking night!! :)
