One of our favorite things to do is feed turtles, fish and ducks at local ponds. We're finally found a place in our new neighborhood at a local community college with a beautiful campus, and there are tons of turtles! They are so cute with algae growing on their backs! We went Friday and Monday, and on Friday we saw two huge fish! Both were at least two feet long and one was definitely a catfish. We didn't see the big fish on Monday, but we still had fun! We've been saving up bread loaves and other bread remnants. We've discovered that turtles and fish do not like tortillas. The fish are so shimmery and cute! I took pictures today because the sun was out, and the fish were very active!
Two turtles, of the fifteen or so that we saw.
More turtles.
A curious boy who discovered that you can let a piece of bread float into the drain and little fishies will attack it once it gets inside the drain.
Part of the college campus. The little pond/creek flows through most of the campus.
This lady was sunning herself quite seductively, and she didn't seem to be wearing clothing. LOL We thought the statue was pretty interesting!
