Irises! Thanks to a friend who just happened to live in this house before us! She planted these when she lived in the house, more than two years ago, and they continue to come back! They are so pretty and I am so thrilled! Plus, there are many, many more left to bloom! Some of these will join us at the dinner table on Friday! Thank you for planting these!

I cut some of the irises today and brought them inside. The rain has been beating them up and their stems are so long they can't stand up on their own anymore.
