I ran the dishwasher this morning, and as I was standing at the stove finishing up some cupcakes, I heard the heater for the dishwasher kick on. I looked over at the dishwasher and steam was coming out of the vent! It was so cold in our house that the heat generated by the dishwasher to dry the dishes, was escaping as visible steam! LOL I'm sure steam always comes out of the vent, but this is the firs time I've seen it! Fisher used it to warm up!

Wow! I guess that tells you how cold our house is ALL the time, we ALWAYS see the steam. That, or our dishwasher runs hotter, but I doubt it since it's reallllly old. :) Oh, we're thoroughly enjoying our Nor'easter right now. Snow, ice and freezing rain, oh MY! The snow is pretty though!
LOL The other reason I may not have noticed before is that I'm not usually in the kitchen when it's running! :-) Our house has been in the upper 50s/lower 60s. We've had the heat on a couple of days when it's been very very cold, but you know how Texas weather is! Hot one day and cold the next! I'm glad you guys are safe though! Those storms going through have been really bad!
