Here's our anniversary cake...it's a "remake" of the top layer of our cake. Our baker does this to keep people from eating a year old cake that could possibly make you sick. It's not an exact replica looks-wise...we didn't have the monogram. But it sure did taste good...just like the original!

I'm so glad to hear this - it always scares me to think that people eat a cake that's a year old!! :)
I'm sure it's okay if you freeze it immediately, but do you really want to take that risk?!
